hello,
I read the posts on the Bethesda forums, and I'm putting this up to tell whoever is interested what we need help on at the moment.
as of right now, we are in need of dungeonmakers, writers,
possibly modellers, but that will come later, and also some scripters.
I dabble, but cant script everything.

I dunno, I tend to be more of a tweaker. I can help you write and make dungeons to a point, but unless your looking for something more up-my-ally, that's about the extent of what I can do for you.

I could use some writing and NPC creation...
For the island I am working on there is a village that is under attack. All the NPCs are dead/missing ...
I would like someone to make a survivor that can tell the player what he know about the attack and where the bandits went( A cave on the island)
Is someone want to take that on it shouldn't be too tough. I have never done anything like that, but there are tutorials on the Oblivion Wiki.
I can email the esp and you can start, just let me know...thanks

come to think of it, voice actors will eventually be a big help,

I have previously had some problems with my CS involving Diologue, but I think I have ironed it out (I'll have to test it before I agree to anything, though). If you are needing any fun AI on him, I can probably help with that (I'm not an accomplished scripter or modeller or anything like that, but I think I'm decent-to-good [with all due modesty] at using the CS in general). If you can be a little more specific I can make sure I can iron out the kinks... |

OK...
Basically on the island I am working on there is a group of 4 huts...they have been raided and are set on fire. You can enter the huts, but everything is basically in shambles.
*I would like for you to write a couple journals and place them in the huts and discuss the daily lives of the villagers...It can be anything, use your imagination
*I would like you to create a NPC that is a survivor of the raid. He would be hidden in a cave on the island. You can basically make him tell you that the attackers escaped with a rare artifact. He can stay put in the cave...Add whatever dialog you want, but include the attackers ran off with a rare artifact. I have the artifact model and will put it on the boss bandit on my next island.

Gah, my diologue stuff still isn't working... I'm going to go to the CS forums and see if I can fix it, but in the mean time I obviously can't add diologue for a character. If you want me to do anything else in the mean time (AI or add those journals you mentioned or something) I can help, but otherwise, I'm sorry I disappointed :-P

Don't worry, the dialog stuff shouldn't be that big of a deal so far...
Why don't you just make a few journals...make a esp and save them with a obvious name, then send the esp to me and I can merge it with the mod and place them in the game with CS.
There are 4 huts, so 4 journals would be cool...Maybe 4 different perspectives?

Sounds easy enough. This is still concerning a group of raiders attacking a village and setting it ablaze, right? Shouls I take the liberty of deciding who the people in the huts were (i.e. race, gender, age), or are there any guidelines you need me to follow?

Go ahead and make it what ever you want.
I just called the attackers "Bards" and the villagers "villagers"
I can easily change that. The villagers are Brettons but that can change easily too.

Okay, I just made the first journal, that will belong to a middleaged-to-old guy who used to be a noble warrior. I left underscores for village name and townspeoples names, and randomly assigned the date of Frostfall 17 to when the village was destroyed. I won't be on the computer tomorrow, but will have plenty of time on Wednesday to work on/complete the journals. Hope they are adequate ;-)
